Jewellery Care

Your SÓLINA jewellery was made to last a lifetime — through birthdays, beach days, bedtime stories, and all the little-big moments in between. Here's how to keep it shining as bright as she does.

Let it shine, not soak.
Gold and chlorine are sworn enemies. Pool water, hot tubs, and even some cleaning sprays can dull the sparkle and weaken those tiny joins. So before cannonballs or bubble baths, pop it off and keep it safe.

Dress first, sparkle second.
Jewellery should be the finishing touch — literally. Put it on after clothes, hairspray, and sunscreen to avoid snags, tugs, and mystery tangles. (Bonus: it makes getting ready feel a bit more special.)

Treat it like the keepsake it is.
Solid gold is strong, but it's not superhero-proof. Avoid bending, pulling, or using it as a swing rope for dolls. Fine chains, huggies, and clasps especially appreciate a gentle touch.

Give it a cosy home.
When it's not being worn, tuck it back into its SÓLINA box or a soft pouch. It keeps things tangle-free, scratch-free, and saves you from those frantic "has anyone seen the other earring?" mornings.

A quick spa treatment.
To freshen things up at home, use warm (not hot) water, a tiny drop of mild dish soap, and a soft baby toothbrush. Give it a gentle brush, rinse well, pat dry with a lint-free cloth, and let it breathe before tucking it away.

Bring it back for a tune-up.
Every now and then, your piece might need a professional clean or a clasp check — especially if it's worn daily. We're always happy to take a look and make sure it's ready for the next chapter.

Let it tell her story.
Over time, gold develops a gentle patina — soft edges, tiny marks, a warmth that only comes with being loved and worn. That's not damage. That's life. Treat your SÓLINA piece with care, and it will carry her story (and yours) for generations.
