This website is owned and operated by Melissa Crennan (ABN 3601903623), trading as SÓLINA (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products through it. By using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use this site.
1. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights for our products and content — including designs, photographs, text, brand assets, and other materials — remain the property of SÓLINA or our licensors and are protected under Australian and international copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. Our content may not be used for commercial purposes without authorisation.
2. Terms of Sale
2.1 Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.
2.2 Placing an Order
To make a purchase, you must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid credit or debit card. When you place an order, you agree that all information provided (including name, email, billing and shipping details) is accurate and complete, and that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. This email is not confirmation of acceptance. A contract is formed only once your order is dispatched and you receive a shipping confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or breach of these Terms.
2.3 Pricing and Availability
All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We make every effort to ensure pricing and product information is accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover an error, we will contact you to confirm or cancel your order. If cancelled, a full refund will be issued. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
2.4 Payment
Payments are processed securely via our authorised payment partners (PayPal, Stripe, and Afterpay). Your card or account will be charged once your order is accepted and processed. By completing checkout, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the total amount of your order.
2.5 Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout. Dispatch times are provided as a guide only and may vary due to production lead times or postal delays beyond our control. For international orders, you are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes imposed by your destination country. We are unable to advise on these charges.
2.6 Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a refund if we cannot fulfil it for any reason (e.g. supply issues, suspected fraud, or error). If you wish to cancel an order before it has shipped, please contact us as soon as possible — we will do our best to assist, but cannot guarantee cancellation once production or dispatch has begun.
3. Returns and Exchanges
We ask that you choose carefully when placing your order, as we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection. If you need to make a change, we’re happy to offer an exchange or store credit — simply lodge a return request within 14 days of receiving your order and return the piece in its original, unworn condition with all packaging intact. Return postage is at your own expense.
Please note that customised or personalised pieces, including engraved items, bespoke designs, and pieces from the Imprint Collection, are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty. If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can assess and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. 4. Warranty
All SÓLINA jewellery is crafted from solid gold and gemstones, designed to last through life’s milestones and beyond.
We offer a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, or changes in appearance due to regular use (including scratches, bending, or tarnish on clasps and chains).
If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item at no cost.
If the damage is due to everyday wear, we can still assist through our Repair Service, which offers paid repairs, polishing, and restoration.
To make a warranty claim, please contact us via our Request a Repair form with your order details and a clear photo of the issue. We’ll review your claim promptly and provide next steps.
To help your jewellery last a lifetime, we recommend checking clasps and settings regularly, removing jewellery during high-impact activities, and storing each piece separately in its SÓLINA packaging when not in use.
5. Gift Cards
Gift cards are issued in Australian dollars, valid for three years from the date of purchase, and cannot be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash. If items purchased with a gift card are returned, any refund will be issued as store credit.
6. Visitor-Provided Content
Any public content you post or share on our website (such as reviews or comments) is considered non-confidential and may be used by us for promotional or operational purposes. You agree not to post or share content that is defamatory, obscene, unlawful, or infringes the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content we consider inappropriate or in breach of these Terms.
7. Linking Policy
You may link to our website provided it is done fairly, legally, and without harm to our reputation. You must not imply any endorsement or association without our written permission. We may include links to third-party websites for convenience. We do not control or endorse their content, and your use of those sites is at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
While we strive to ensure the accuracy of information on this website, we make no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding its completeness or reliability. To the extent permitted by law, SÓLINA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our products. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability under Australian Consumer Law, including liability for personal injury or major failure.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using this website, you consent to the processing of your data as described in that policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
