Before I started SÓLINA, my mother gave my daughter a pair of gold earrings to mark her first day of kindergarten. It was such a beautiful gesture — but as a jeweller, I knew they wouldn't last the year.

Not because the thought wasn't precious. But because jewellery for children simply isn't made to last anymore.

So I went searching through my own jewellery box, and found a pair of tiny gold huggies my mother had given me when I was little. They were still perfect. Still strong. Still full of meaning.

That was the moment I realised what was missing.

Proper jewellery for girls. Pieces that celebrate their milestones with the same love and permanence our mothers and grandmothers once chose for us.

SÓLINA was created to fill that space — so the radiant moments of girlhood can be kept, worn, and one day, passed on.

The name SÓLINA means "of the sun," because like those golden childhood days, our pieces are made to be warm, light-filled, and enduring.

Founded by a jeweller, gemmologist, and mum of four, SÓLINA exists to bring back what should never have been lost: jewellery worthy of the moments it marks.
